Latest : Allu Arjun Iddarammayilatho Latest Movie Review 1 st on Net

Release date : 31 May 2013
Director : Puri Jagannadh
Producer : Bandla Ganesh
Music Director : Devi Sri Prasad
Starring : Allu Arjun, Amala Paul, Catherine Tresa

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Iddarammayilatho’ is all set for its theatrical release on the 31st. The movie has been directed by Puri Jagan and Bandla Ganesh is the producer. Allu Arjun’s previous film, ‘Julayi’,was a big hit so there are high expectation on this movie. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. Let us see how ‘Iddarammayilatho’ is

Story :

Sanju Reddy (Allu Arjun) is the lead guitarist of a band (comprising of Srinivasa Reddy, Khayyum and two other women) which is based in Spain. Akanksha (Catherine Tresa) is the rich and pampered kid of a Union Minister ( Rao Ramesh ). She heads to Spain for her higher studies and moves into a lovely house. Here, she comes across a diary which has been left by the previous tenant. The diary belongs to Komali Sankarabharanam (Amala Paul) and it chronicles the warm love story between Komali and Sanju.

Akanksha instantly connects to the story and finds herself becoming very attached to the characters of Komali and Sanju. She comes across Sanju in real life and starts teasing him by passing off snippets from the diary as her own psychological predictions.

The story in the diary comes to an abrupt end and Akanksha confronts Sanju about the same. A tragic fact is then revealed by Sanju, a fact that shakes Akanksha to the core. She starts developing romantic feelings for Sanju and proposes to him. But the story takes yet another twist here.

What are the twists? Who is Sanju? Why did the story in the diary stop abruptly? To know that, watch ‘Iddarammayilatho’

Plus Points :

Allu Arjun is at his stylish best in the movie. His costumes are very nice and his overall look is quite sophisticated. His dance has a lot of grace. He has danced to medleys of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s hit songs and these bits will entertain fans. The movie has two nice action sequences and Allu Arjun has performed quite convincingly in those episodes.

Catherine Tresa looks drop dead gorgeous in this film. Her costumes and generous skin show will drive youngsters crazy. If she plays her cards right, she is here to stay as the next big female star. The romantic episodes involving Allu Arjun and Catherine have come out well. Amala Paul is ok in the role of a traditional Brahmin girl. She has given a convincing performance as a shy and timid girl.

The interval bang has been executed well and the story gains momentum here. ‘Run Run’, ‘Violin Song’ and ‘Top Lechipoddi’ have been shot nicely. The twist in the final stages of the film is nice and the story picks up good pace from that point onwards until the climax.

Minus Points :

The comedy episodes featuring Brahmanandam and Ali and are not very convincing. Brahmanandam will be seen as Phidel Brahma and Ali will be seen as a psychopath named Gudivada Krishna. Shawar Ali looks monotonous as an international Don. Subba Raju is wasted once again.

The pace of the movie is a little slow in the second half. The film picks up momentum only after the final twist is revealed. The placement of songs in the first half could have been better. Fans expect ‘special’ dance moves from Allu Arjun, but this film does not have any such steps.

Traditionally, a hero in a Puri Jagan film has an arrogant swagger about him. The character treatment will ensure a high entertainment quotient. But that is not the case with ‘Iddarammayilatho’. Heroism is sorely missing from Allu Arjun’s character in this movie.

Technical Aspects :

Locations in the film are quite nice. Amol Rathod’s cinematography is very good in a few scenes but it is surprisingly mediocre in some sequences. One gets the feeling that some of the visuals suffer from overexposure. Sekkhar’s editing is ok but a few scenes could have been trimmed in the second half. The bold one liners and punch dialogues that fans expect in a Puri Jagan film are very few in number. DSP’s background score is effective.

In terms of direction and character treatment, you will see a very different Puri Jagan in this movie. This Puri is more sober and mature. Is that a good thing for his fans? I am not very sure. Some people succeed most when they are bold and aggressive. Puri is one such guy.

Verdict :

‘Iddarammayilatho’ is a very stylish offering from Puri Jagan. Allu Arjun’s performance, Catherine’s glamour and the action sequences are assets for the film. Slow pace in the second half and the absence of traditional Puri Jagan elements like heroism and punch dialogues might hamper the overall experience.

Release date : 17 May 2013
Director : Eeshwar
Producer : Venkata Shyam Prasad, Malla Vijaya Prasad
Music Director : Mani Sharma
Starring : Venu, Kamalinee Mukherjee..

Thottempudi Venu, who entertained Telugu film lovers a few years ago with films like ‘Chirunavvutho’, ‘Swayamvaram’ etc is back after a long time with the film ‘Ramachari’. The movie has been directed by Eshwar and Shyam Prasad is the producer. The movie has released today after a long delay, so let us see how it is.

Story:

Ramachari (Venu) is a youngster whose only dream is to join the Police Department. He tries his best to get selected but his attempts are thwarted. Despite the disappointments, Ramachari continues to help the Police Department in whatever way he can.

During one such intervention, Ramachari comes across a plot to assassinate the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Harischandra Prasad ( Balayya ). Ramachari discovers that Police Commissioner Chadda (Murali Sharma) is also a part of the conspiracy.

Ramachari must now don the role of a private detective and team up with his pals Ganguly (Ali) and Chinta (Brahmanandam) to stop this from happening. How he does this is what ‘Ramachari’ is all about.

Plus Points:

Venu looks neat in the role of Ramachari. His comedy timing is pretty good and his energy levels are high.

Brahmanandam and Ali manage to entertain in a few scenes. L.B.Sriram is ok. Veteran actor Balayya has delivered a dignified performance as the CM. Murali Sharma looks ok as a corrupt cop.

There are one or two genuinely humorous scenes in the film.

Minus Points :

There are too many loopholes in the script. Some of the scenes just do not make sense. The security detail of the Chief Minister is made to look very silly. The concept of granting a weapon to a private detective etc look quite silly and give the film a very amateurish feel.

Screenplay is a big minus for the film. Pace keeps dropping alarmingly at times. None of the songs make a positive impression and their placement could have been a lot better.

Kamalinee Mukherjee is a big minus for the film. She looks very tired and dull. Her role does not have any significance in the film and the romantic track with Venu is absolutely devoid of any emotion.

The film’s comedy sequences are largely outdated and quite cheap. They do not gel with the rest of the film and look forced.

Raghubabu’s character is largely irritating. Chandramohan and Giribabu are wasted in insignificant roles.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography is quite mediocre. Editing is poor and very jerky. Dialogues are quite bad and cliched. In fact, poor writing is one of the biggest issues with this movie. Background music is very loud.

Eshwar’s direction is quite bad and he has not done justice to the film. Production values are quite mediocre.

Verdict :

Except for one or two very humorous moments, ‘Ramachari’ ends up being quite a disappointment. Issues with the script and bad screenplay spoil the viewing experience. Kamalinee Mukherjee does not help matters either. The film has a very outdated feel to it. Venu is a talented actor and he should choose his projects with better care.

Aadi Sukumarudu Movie Latest Review

Release date : 10 May 2013
Director : G. Ashok
Producer : K. Venugopal
Music Director :Anoop Rubens
Starring : Aadi, Nisha Aggarwal, Ghattamaneni Krishna

Dialogue King Sai Kumar’s son ‘Aadi’ is all set to hit the screens with ‘Sukumarudu’. The movie is releasing today across the world and it has Nisha Aggarwal as the female lead opposite Aadi. Superstar Krishna and veteran actress Sharada will be seen in crucial roles in this movie. G.Ashok has directed this film and Venugopal is the producer. Let us see how this movie is.

Story :

The story of this film is similar to the recently released ‘Greeku Veerudu’. A selfish NRI who does not care about his relatives back in India, suddenly decides to come and seek their blessings once property comes into the equation.

Sukumar (Aadi) is a selfish and extremely money minded young fellow who is very successful in life. He however needs some urgent cash to kickstart his dream project. At precisely this point, he comes to know that an inheritance worth 150Crores is waiting for him in his village.

He decides to travel to the village and meet his grandmother Vandanamma (Sharada), a slightly cranky old lady who is revered by the villagers. Sukumar tries to emotionally blackmail her for the property.

But his plans keep getting thwarted by history, his uncle Rao Ramesh and others. A romantic track with Sankari (Nisha Aggarwal) also comes in during this time.

Will Sukumar succeed in his plans or will his evil schemes be detected by the villagers? That forms the story.

Plus Points:
Superstar Krishna garu has a neat and dignified presence, even if it is only for a few minutes. Veteran actress Sharada has done a nice job.

Rao Ramesh has tried his best to make things interesting. Aadi is ok in the dances and fights department, but he needs to really improve fast in portraying emotions.

Minus Points :

Screenplay of this movie is terrible. There is no logical flow in the proceedings and the whole film has a very jerky feel to it. The director has attempted to tackle various themes in the film – father and son sentiment, grandmother and grandson sentiment, a clever NRI coming back to reform his village etc. The problem is, none of the themes have been tackled properly.

There are gaping loopholes in the plot and many sequences have absolutely no logic. There is excessive melodrama and needless over action in emotional scenes.

The film is way too long. At a few minutes less than 3 hours, the length becomes unbearable when there is basically no story to narrate.

The comedy tracks fail to work as the writing is cliched and very poor. Despite the presence of so many talented comedy actors, the loud sequences end up irritating viewers.

The romantic track between Aadi and Nisha Aggarwal is very superficial and incomplete. Their screen chemistry is not very good.

The placement of songs is very poor and they act as major speed breakers.

Technical Aspects:

Cinematography of the film is quite mediocre. Editing is atrocious and as I said before, the film has a very jerky feel to it. Dialogues are very average.

Ashok Kumar’s direction is quite poor and leaves a lot to be desired. Production values are mediocre.

Anoop Rubens has provided ok music but the background score is too loud, like the rest of the film.

Verdict:

Sukumarudu is a film that is painfully long and poorly made. You can safely avoid the film, unless you want to experience Sukumaramaina torture

Nagachaitanya Sunil Tadhaka Movie Latest Review

Release date : 10 May 2013
Director : Kishore Kumar Pardasani
Producer : Bellamkonda Ganesh
Music Director : S.Thaman
Starring : Naga Chaitanya, Sunil, Tamannaah, Andrea Jeremiah

Yuvasamrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sunil have teamed up for the mass entertainer ‘Tadakha’. The movie has been directed by Dolly and Bellamkonda Suresh is the producer. Thaman has composed the music. Tamanna and Andrea Jeremiah have essayed the lead roles opposite Chaitanya and Sunil. The movie has released today across the world, so let us see how it is.

Story :

Sivarama Krishna (Sunil) and Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) are brothers. Sivarama Krishna is a timid and sensitive guy while Karthik is a street smart guy who is tough and brave. Their father (Naga Babu) is a police officer and he expires while on the job. The Police Department offers this job to Sivarama Krishna and Karthik forces him to accept it.

As soon as a nervous Sivarama Krishna joins the force, he is forced to take on the evil Bagga (Ashutosh Rana). Bagga is a notorious criminal and smuggler who terrorises the city. With the help of Karthik, Sivarama Krishna deals a blow to Bagga’s operations. This infuriates the bad boy and he vows to take revenge on the brothers.

While this is on, Sivarama Krishna happens to get married to Nandu(Andrea Jeremiah). Pallavi (Tamanna) is her sister and she falls in love with Karthik. A romance blossoms between the two.

Bagga manages to deal a blow to the brothers and Sivarama Krishna is now forced to shed his timidity to transform himself into a tough cop. How does he do that? How does Karthik help his brother? Will they succeed in defeating Bagga? That forms the story

Plus Points :

Naga Chaitanya looks very stylish in the film. His new hairstyle suits him quite well. He has improved as an actor with this movie. Chaitanya has managed to do a good job in the fight sequences. Tamanna looks ultra hot in the ‘Maaraa Maaraa’ song and she shares great chemistry with Chaitanya. The romantic scenes involving these two have come out quite well.

Sunil is a major asset for the film. In the first half, he entertains with his comedy. After the transformation, he excels in the role of a police officer and he steals the show towards the end. Andrea Jeremiah looks ok but she does not have anything to do in this film.

Ashutosh Rana delivers a very convincing performance as the evil Bagga. Brahmanandam and Vennela Kishore entertain to a certain extent. Director Dolly has done a good job in terms of balancing both Chaitanya and Sunil. Heroism has been elevated well for both Chaitanya and Sunil. Raghu Babu, Rama Prabha and Jayaprakash Reddy are ok.

The film’s first half is very entertaining. There is good pace, solid emotional depth and some really well shot sequences. Comedy quotient has been maintained well throughout the film. The emotional bond between the brothers has been established well and that lays a solid foundation for the film’s climax.

Minus Points :

The pace of the film dips a bit in the second half. Poor placement of songs and mediocre music hamper the flow to a certain extent. Entertainment levels are not as high as in the first half.

There is virtually no romance between Sunil and Andrea and it would have been good to see some nice moments between the two. The transformation of Sunil from a timid guy into a tough cop is a little too cinematic.

There are too many fights in the film. One or two can easily be chopped off. There is a scene where Naga Chaitanya runs and overtakes a speeding train. This scene is a little too much, even for mass masala entertainers.

For those who have seen the original film ‘Vettai’, this movie will not be as engaging or entertaining.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography of the film is decent. Editing is neat. Dialogues have been written well and they work effectively. Thaman’s background score is effective in some areas but it is a bit too loud in other places.

Dolly has done a neat job as a director. He has balanced Sunil and Chaitanya well.

Verdict :

‘Tadakha’ is a mass entertainer. The movie’s first half has good entertainment levels and moves along well. Chaitanya, Sunil and Tamanna have delivered good performances. A below par second half and some mediocre music bring down the overall experience. Overall, ‘Tadakha’ makes for a decent summer watch.

Nagarjuna Greeku Veerudu Movie Latest New Review

Release date : 03 May 2013
Director : Kondapalli Dasaradh Kumar
Producer : D Siva Prasad Reddy
Music Director : S. Thaman
Starring : Nagarjuna, Nayantara, Meera Chopra

‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna’s ‘Greeku Veerudu’ has released across the world today. The movie has been directed by Dasaradh and Siva Prasad Reddy has produced it on Kamakshi Movies banner. The film has Nagarjuna and Nayanathara in the lead roles. Music has been composed by Thaman. Let us see how the film is.

Story :

Chandu (Nagarjuna) is a selfish NRI event manager. He believes in enjoying life, without any commitments and attachments. After the failure of an event, he is dragged to court by PR (Ashish Vidyardhi) and Chandu ends up with a massive fine on his hands.

At this point, he comes to know about his family fortune in India, which is about a 1000 Crores. Chandu does not have any ties with his relatives, so he decides to go to India and win them over for his selfish reasons. His grandfather Ramakrishna Prasad (Vishwanadh) welcomes him with open arms and grows fond of him.

On the journey to India, he runs into Sandhya (Nayanatara), who works for the ‘Make a Wish’ foundation. He develops feelings for her and Sandhya also reciprocates. To appease his family, Chandu requests Sandhya to act as his wife, to which she obliges.

But things unravel once Chandu’s motives become known. What will he do in these circumstances? Will he change as a person? Will he win back the love of his grandfather? That forms the story of ‘Greeku Veerudu’.

Plus Points :

Nagarjuna looks stylish and suave in the role of Chandu. His costumes are superb, as always. He has tried his hand at dances in this film and he has done a good job in the ‘I hate love stories’ song. Nayanathara looks quite beautiful in the film and her costumes are very nice. The screen chemistry between these two actors is quite nice to watch.

Veteran actor K. Vishwanadh has done a neat job in the film. The scenes between Nagarjuna and Vishwanadh have come out well. Character actress Sudha has a few vital scenes and she has done justice to her role.Kota Srinivasa Rao, Bannerjee and Ashish Vidhyardhi are ok. Brahmanandmam entertains in a few sequences.

A clean family drama is at the heart of this film and that will be appreciated by middle aged people and women. The first half is largely decent and just before the interval, the emotional quotient gets a sudden boost.

Towards the end, M.S.Narayana,Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam succeed in creating a brief confusion comedy of sorts.

Minus Points :

The pace of the film is quite slow. Screenplay is not upto the mark and the plot keeps wandering all over the place in the second half. There are some loopholes in the plot.

Graphics work is quite bad. The makers have gone in for matte shots to simulate USA and other foreign locales and these scenes are an eyesore. In fact, these bad visuals end up making people irritated and this spoils the overall viewing experience.

The second half has some bad comedy. The episode in the amusement park, where Nagarjuna tries to fulfil a young kid’s last dream, is quite badly executed. A mindless episode involving Brahmanandam and some dogs is best forgotten.

The marriage drama sequence between Nagarjuna and Nayanathara is quite silly.Venu Madhav, Srinivas Reddy and Dharamavarapu Subrahmanyam are wasted.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography is quite bad and it is a major letdown. Editing could have been better in the second half. Thaman’s background music is ok. Dialogues are ok in a few places but they could have been better.

Dasaradh has succeeded in getting the emotional moments right. But he should have paid more attention to the comedy scenes and the romantic track.

Verdict :

Greeku Veerudu is a clean family drama. The film has some good emotional moments and fine performances from Nagarjuna, Nayanathara and Vishwanadh. Poor CG shots, slow pace and some cliched moments spoil the experience to a certain extent. Overall, this is a movie that will appeal more to older sections of the audience.

Nithiin Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde Movie Latest Hot Review

Release date : 19 April 2013
Director : Vijay Kumar Konda
Producer : Nikitha Reddy, Vikram Gowd
Music Director : Anoop Rubens
Starring : Nithiin, Nithya Menen, Isha Talwar, Ali, Jwala Gutta

Young Hero Nithiin’s ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe’ has released today across the world. Nithiin, Nithya Menen and Isha Talwar are the lead actors in this movie, which has been directed by Vijay Kumar Konda. Sresht Movies banner has produced the film and Anoop Rubens has composed the music. The film is crucial for Nithiin, as it coming after the success of ‘Ishq’. Let us see how GJG is

Story :

The story of ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe’ is simple, but sweet. Karthik (Nithiin) is a fiercely independent youngster, who likes to live life on his terms. He believes in a hands on approach to things. During the wedding party of his friend Pandu (Ali), Karthik comes across Shruthi (Isha Talwar) and instantly falls in love with her. He obtains her phone number through Pandu and starts calling her on a regular basis.

But as fate would have it, Karthik gets the wrong number and he actually keeps calling Shravani (Nithya Menen), instead of Shruthi. Shravani is a very rich young girl, who fantasizes about falling in love with an anonymous lover. She wants someone who loves her for what she is, without caring about her beauty or her wealth. Karthik meets all her requirements and it is a dream come true for her.

A breezy romance starts over the phone. Karthik and Shravani fall in love with each other for completely different reasons. But the happiness is short lived and the story takes a twist when both parties come to know about the mix up.

What happens next? Who will Karthik end up with? Watch the film to know the rest.

Plus Points :

Nithiin is a perfect fit for the role of Karthik. Beginning with ‘Ishq’, he has transformed himself completely in terms of acting and body language. His costumes are cool and he now has a certain ease on screen. His dances in Pawan Kalyan’s remix song are outstanding. With the help of technology, the makers have shown Pawan Kalyan and Nithiin dancing together and this sequence has come out really well. Nithiin is getting good at comedy and his timing is spot on in this movie.

Nithya Menen is once again the undisputed star of the film. In a character that has multiple shades, she shines through brilliantly. Nithya has very expressive eyes and she uses them to devastating effect while conveying emotions. Her performance is a treat to watch in this movie.

The chemistry between Nithiin and Nithya is outstanding and is a major highlight for the movie. Their scenes have been written and shot very well. The romantic track between Nithiin and Nithya has a lot of depth. There is tenderness, humour and emotional bonding between the characters. Climax sequence is good and the scenes will tug at your heartstrings.

Isha Talwar is decent. Ali entertains well as Nithiin’s friend. Thagubothu Ramesh brings a few laughs in a brief role. Madhu has performed well as Nithiin’s friend and his romantic track with Isha Talwar is quite humorous.

Clever screenplay and intelligent humour are the film’s biggest assets. Pace of narration is fast and the entertainment quotient is maintained right through the film. Songs have been shot well, especially the title song, Pawan Kalyan’s remix song and ‘Thu hi Re’.

There are a number of references to Pawan Kalyan and the famous ‘nadum’ scene from ‘Khushi’ has been used cleverly in the film.

Minus Points :

When compared to the first half, the second half loses pace slightly for a while. Jwala Gutta is not very effective as a dancer.

Some cinematic liberties have been taken with the story. When you speak to someone for hours together on the phone, and consider that person as your soul mate, will you not recognise that voice when he/she comes in front of you?

The gay comedy scenes are fun for a while, but may not be enjoyed by everyone – especially family crowds. Raghu Babu is wasted in a comedy track that does not really gel with the rest of the film.

Technical Aspects :

Andrew’s cinematography is very good and it lends a rich feel to the visuals. Editing is very good. Dialogues are superb and they are a big asset for the film. Anoop Rubens has composed the film’s music and he has done a good job.

Vijay Kumar Konda shows great promise as a director. It is quite tough to engage the attention of viewers with such a simple storyline, but he succeeds.

Verdict :

‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe’ is a nicely written and well executed romantic comedy. Superb chemistry between Nithiin and Nithya, a high comedy quotient and intelligent screenplay make this film a very enjoyable watch. Nithiin has a potential Box Office winner on his hands.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu Movie Review and Rating

Release date: 11 Jan 2012
Director : Srikanth Addala
Producer : Dil Raju
Music Director : Mickey J Meyer
Starring : Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Anjali

The eagerly awaited multi-starrer ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is all set for its grand release tomorrow. We have been to an exclusive screening of the film at Prasad Labs and we are bringing you the first and exclusive review of ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. The film has Victory Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu in the lead roles and Srikanth Addala is the director. Dil Raju is the producer of the film.

Story :

The story of ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is set in a small village called Relangi. The story revolves around a lovable family headed by Prakash Raj. Fondly called as Relangi Mavayya by his nephews and nieces, Prakash Raj is seen as a kind hearted gentleman who gives great importance to human values and relationships. He has two sons – Peddodu (Venkatesh) and Chinnodu (Mahesh Babu).

Venkatesh is seen as a strong willed and highly emotional guy who does not like to bow down to others. He believes in doing what is right and waits for the ‘big golden chance’ in life. He is unemployed, but very honest and loves his younger brother Mahesh a lot. Seetha (Anjali) is his maradalu. She is very attached to Venkatesh and grows up believing him to be her husband.

Mahesh Babu on the other hand, is a witty and charming young lad who is irresistible to women. He tries to talk his way out of situations using his wit. He falls in love with Geetha (Samantha), who happens to be the daughter of Rao Ramesh. Rao Ramesh is seen as an arrogant guy who ridicules Prakash Raj and his family for their low wealth.

The unemployment of Venkatesh and the ridicule heaped on the family by relatives puts some strain on the relationships. Both Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu find that their love lives also get affected by all this.

What does Prakash Raj do in these circumstances? Can Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu win the women they love? That forms the story of ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’.

Plus Points :

First, director Srikanth Addala and producer Dil Raju deserve applause for having the courage and the determination to mount such a project in this day and age. Their efforts are evident and it is a treat to see Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu together on the big screen.

Venkatesh is at his best as the straightforward and emotional elder brother. He looks macho, performs with ease in the emotional scenes and brings a lot of dignity to the movie. His scenes with Anjali have been conceived very nicely.

Mahesh Babu is very cool as the handsome and witty younger brother. His godavari district slang and clever one liners will stand out in the film and he succeeds in making people laugh. His romantic scenes with Samantha are brilliant. During the closing stages of the movie, Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu displayed great chemistry as siblings and their performance in the Bhadrachalam episode is a treat to watch.

Samantha is beautiful and adorable in this movie. Her cute expressions and romantic scenes with Mahesh Babu make you want to root for her. Anjali is good as the innocent Seetha. Her expressions are pleasant and she has very good screen presence.

Prakash Raj has done a great job as the father. He is dignified and classy. Jayasudha is neat. Rao Ramesh is highly effective as the jealous and arrogant guy. Murali Mohan, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu and Tanikella Bharani are good.

The film has beautiful emotions – the bond between brothers, the care shown by an uncle for his niece, the concern shown by a mother for her good but emotional son. It is these emotions and the pleasant nature of the film that pull you in so convincingly.

Middle class family ambiance has been shown realistically and convincingly. The first half of the film goes by at a nice and breezy pace. All the songs in the movie have been shot well.

There are some heart touching scenes in the movie, like the one where Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu want to express their affection for each other but hold back due to personal reservations.

Minus Points :

There is a slight lag in narration in the second half. It is not uncomfortable, but it can be felt. The film needs to be watched without expecting any of the traditional heroism associated with Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu. If you go looking for that ,you may be disappointed.

Great emphasis is placed on family bonding and human emotions and traditional commercial elements take a back seat here.

Technical Aspects :

Guhan’s cinematography is outstanding in the movie. The visuals are rich and colourful and the frame appears very rich. Mickey J Meyer’s music is an asset for the movie. Editing is decent. Dialogues have been written very well.

Srikanth Addala’s success lies not in brilliant storytelling, but in patiently weaving a family drama that balances Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu well. It is not an easy thing to do in this day and age.

Verdict :

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is a beautifully woven tale of human emotions. The film is a must watch, just to see Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu bond so well on the big screen if not for anything else. Good performances from the lead cast, clean family drama and some nice emotional moments are big bonuses. Don’t go in expecting traditional heroism from Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu. On the whole, SVSC is a Sankranthi entertainer that you need to watch with your family.

Mega fans pinned lot of hopes on this Nayak, after the stupendous pre release business expectations on this movie are sky rocketed. Hot beauties Kajal and amala Paul are pairing up with Ramcharan.  Ramcharan will be seen in dual role. This most anticipated movie is hitting screens today, keep watch this space for Complete Review and rating.
Nayak Movie Review: story..
The story starts in kolkata with hero assasinating Villain pradeep ravat’s son. Then story shifts to hydrabad where Ramcharan( Cherry) is seen as Software enjineer  who falls in love with madhu(kajal). mean while In hyderbad DGP gets killed by hero. With one clue they find in Kolkata in Villan’s son murder case, CBI officer Ashish vidyarthi comes from Kolkata to trace the killer and suspects that same killer involved in DGP Murder case in hydearbad. Later CBI finds that Cherry is the killer and tries to arrest him But here comes a twist in the form of Siddarth nayak(Ramcharan). Who is Siddarth nayak??? Why is he assasinating every one???  Forms the rest of the story.
Nayak Movie Review:Star performances:
Ramcharan in dual role as cherry(soft role) and siddarth nayak(mass role) given subtle performance and balanced  both charecters  very well with his intense performance quotient. His dance moves are Meticulous and impeccable. Ramcharan’s Dialogue delivery as angry young man is very good.
Kajal is dead drop gorgeous in the film while Amala paul is sexy and beautiful .Charmi sizzled in Nellore item song. Both kajal and Amalapaul did not have scope for peformance.
Rajeev kanakala and surekha vani as Siddarth’s sister and bava are adequate.. Bramhanandam as jilebi is hillarious, Ms narayana as drunkard is funny, Venumadhav as power star pawan kalyan fans president was brief. Pradeep Ravat  as villain felt his presence strongly. Posani krishna murali as usual good with his eccentricity. Jayaprakash Reddy with his kind of comedy rowdism mark is very good. While kota and others were brief.

Nayak Movie Review: Technical aspects:
Cinematography by Chota k Naidu is assest for the film. Editing should have been more crisp in second half. Music by taman has got good response and visualised very well. Especially Subhalekha raasukunna song shot very well with out any hiccufs. Dialogues penned by Siva are good. Choreography is laudable. Screenplay should have been better. Action sequences are shot well.
Nayak Movie Review: Highlights:
Comedy.
Songs and dances.
First half.
 Draw backs:
Predictable story.
Weak climax.
Editing in second half.

Nayak Movie Review: Analysis:
Candidly speaking there is nothing new in the story of the film. Its a regualr revenge drama flick with  four high voltage action scenes and three punch dialogues and one twist. Movie first half is entertaining with comedy but director played balancing act by keeping mass elements in the first half.  An action episode beforeInterval bang make audience to sit at edge of thier seats But later it makes story predictable to the audience.  Second half of the movie will start with flash back where you can find lot of resemblances of other flms. But only one scene saved second half fom Becoming big yawner , is choclate scene,This episodeResembles Rajanikanth’s sivaji and one of the srihari’s film( i forgot the movie name) But Posani krishna murali pulled off this scene very well.  Climax is big let down for the movie. With all these negative elements no one can make this film to reach the audience but V.v. nayak who clearly knows mass pulse delivers decent product by taking care of entertainment quotient in both first and second halfs. Infact Taman’s Back ground music helped V.v.Nayak to elevate some high voltage action sequences. Overall entertainment  is the saving grace for this film
Verdict: Not a fresh fruit juice its a Fruit mixer

Nagarjuna Damarukam Movie Review and Ratings

Damarukam Review - Damarukam Movie Review - Dhamarukam Telugu Movie Review - Nagarjuna Dhamarukam Review Rating

Story:
Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Damarukam Telugu Movie - Nagarjuna had few releases in the past couple of years and all of them have been average movies and nothing stood out but with Damarukam Nag has a sure shot winner in his hands this time. Nov 23rd is definitely a lucky day for Nagarjuna, at

First Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s Birth Day. Finally the movie has released and one thing we can say for sure, “Late Ga Vachina Latest Ga Vachindi”.

Nagarjuna looking younger than ever and sported his six pack body and Anushka is excellent and she looked very glamorous. Damarukam is a socio-fantasy movie in which Nagarjuna plays the role of Mallikarjuna while Anushka does the female lead role. Andhakasura is the Raksha who is in an invisible form. At the time of Panchagraha Kootami, Andhakasura takes the shape and gets the power of ‘Panchabhoothalu’. Andhakasura will become powerful.

Andhakasura should marry a girl Maheswari (Anushka) born at that moment to become the emperor of the entire Universe. Only Lord Shiva can eliminate him. So, he executes the elimination through the hero, Mallikarjuna (Nagarjuna).

Analysis:

The Movie starts slowly and by interval bang the movie will reach to peak levels. The Graphics is simply superb and is the highlight of the movie. Nagarjuna‘s performance is mesmerizing. It is an Action adventure movie with thrilling fights. The actual story starts in second half and last 30 minutes is heart of the film with wonderful graphics. The movie is aimed for all section of Audience. The Last 30 minutes of the movie will bind you to your seats. Ravi shanker as Andhakaasura, he just blazed the screen with his performance. Initially no one believed that Srinivas Reddy has calibre to handle a Socio-Fantasy with Computer Graphics, and people thought that he might not be the right choice for this film as it needs lot’s of expertise and experience, but Srinivas Reddy has proved them all wrong.

Performances:

Nagarjuna moulded his role very well with good dialogues and especially in fight sequences. Nagarjuna six pack and Agora get up to perfection in the movie. Nagarjuna took special care for all his roles in the movie. Anushka looked gorgeous in the role of Maheswari, she done justice to his role. Prakash Raj who played the role of Lord Shiva done well and once again proved that he can mould according to his role and perform at his best. Ravi Shankar played the role of Andhakasura. His body language, diction, acting everything suited to perfection. Comedy track in the movie was held by Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Raghu Babu is good.

Technalities:

Damarukam director Srinivasa Reddy took a special care in each and every character making the film a success. Director had done a good research with the story and is able to execute the script perfectly. His guts to do a film like this is not easy in Telugu, we had to appreciate for his commitment. Music By Devi Sri Prasad is an asset to the movie and the Background score is also very good and at times and in some scenes will thrust your heart. Chota K Naidu cinematography had done his best for the film. Editing by Gautam Raju is good. Firefly Creative Studios for delivering again and giving a visual treat in the form of Graphics via Damarukam.

Final Word: Go and Watch Damarukam movie. It’s a weekend treat to everyone.
