Tottempudi Gopichand (born 12 June 1979), more popularly known as Gopichand, is a Telugu film actor. He is the younger son of the filmmaker T. Krishna and started his career with Tholi Valapu as the main lead.

Personal life
He was 8 years old when his father T. Krishna died and hence there was no direct influence of his father during in his childhood. He completed his studies in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He did his engineering degree in Russia. He was not interested in films and acting at that time.
His elder brother T. Premchand was working as an associate director to Mutyala Subbayya. Premchand made his debut as director and started working on a film under his home banner, but he died in a car accident. Gopichand was in Russia during the death of his brother and could not attend his funeral due to Visa problems. He also has a sister, who is a dentist.
He decided to enter the film industry. After completing his engineering, he did dialogue modulation course for a year. Then he made his debut as hero with the Telugu movie Tholi Valapu.
He was cast as a hero in his first movie Tholi Valapu, which was a disaster at box office. His next movie Jayam gave him success at box office, but this time as a villain. The movie was remade with same title in Tamil with Jayam Ravi as hero. Later on he acted as a villain in movies Nijam and Varsham.
He made a re-entry as hero with the movie Yagnam. This became a box office success which created hype for his capabilities as future hero for the masses.
After doing villain roles in Jayam (2002), Jayam (2003), Nijam and Varsham, he got the lead role in Yagnam. He was noted for his best performance in Ranam in 2006 & Lakshyam in 2007. His next film, Souryam, was released in September 2008. The next year, he acted only in one film, Sankham, which released on 11 September 2009. His next film, Golimar, was released on 27 May 2010. His latest release was Mogudu, which paired him up with Taapsee Pannu.
